A Happy Nothing
Words mean everything
When you sing them out loud, but don't know what you sing
Though I don't really care, cause I sit by the
Window and stare at the world's offerings.
And If I could, would I do something about it
Find something to say and go out and shout it
Or would I stay here and do nothing at all
Ignore what I saw and do nothing to hide it.
Words mean everything
When you sing them out loud, but don't know what you sing
Though I don't really care, cause I sit by the
window and stare at the world's offerings.
If I said I'm lazy would it be all right
Would I have to fight to stay out of sight?
Or would you open your arm, say there's no harm
And show there's a bark but no bite
And If I showed I'd do nothing at all
Did nothing to stall my inevitable fall
I'll still need to be whisked away,
shown it's O.K. won't someone answer my call?
Words mean everything
When you sing them out loud, but don't know what you sing
Though I don't really care, cause I sit by the
window and stare at the world's offerings.
And If I showed I'd do nothing at all
Did nothing to stall my inevitable fall
I'll still need to be whisked away,
shown it's O.K. won't someone answer my call?
Words mean everything
When you sing them out loud, but don't know what you sing
Though I don't really care, cause I sit by the
window and stare at the world's offerings.
